The new site will include undercover storage, workshop, clubroom and a large area suitable for holding displays, once it's completed.
The society has about 80 members who are passionate about the collecting, restoring and display of vintage machinery big and small.
Members used their trade skills to complete some of the building work on the new site and then packed up the years of tools and equipment for transport on trucks, utes and a variety of other vehicles for the move from the showgrounds to Penna.
The move was necessitated due to the redevelopment of the Showgrounds site.
The society currently meets on Wednesdays between 9am and 2pm, but meeting days will increase once all the buildings are completed.
New members are welcome.
