On November 7, Fremantle will host the luxury vessel on the first local call this home port season. The visit will also be the start of her inaugural circumnavigation of Australia.
For many, the arrival of a Cunard Queen will mark the beginning of the local summer cruise season as she embarks on her 121-day residence in Australia.
On board Queen Elizabeth during her Australian cruises will be high-profile Australians Peter Cosgrove, Dawn Fraser and Nova Peris who will inspire guests with anecdotes from their lives.
The last time a Cunard Queen circled the continent was in 2014, making this a rare opportunity to enjoy what the British cruise line does best: impeccable service, exemplary dining, dynamic West End-style entertainment, daily afternoon tea, gala balls, art deco-inspired public spaces, grand on-board libraries, dance classes and deck games.
Among Queen Elizabeth's itineraries is the inaugural Great Australian Culinary Voyage, which features Australian produce and menus created by leading chefs Matt Moran, Mark Olive and Darren Purchese. The five-night round trip from Sydney, departing on January 28, calls in to Melbourne and Burnie, where the culinary experiences will continue on shore.
Gardening royalty Graham Ross and Jamie Durie will share their knowledge on board Cunard's first Gardening Journey, departing Melbourne on February 4. Throughout the seven-night-sailing, these and many more special guests will share their best tips and the top trends in gardening via informative talks, hands-on workshops and on-shore experiences.
A range of select Cunard sailings is currently available, with savings of up to 25 per cent as part of the brand's Annual Savings Event. Bookings must be made before November 30.
For a special fare starting from $7029 (reduced from $10,349) per person twin share in a balcony stateroom, guests can join the Queen Elizabeth on this, her first circuit of Australia. The ship will drop anchor at major cities as well as regional gems such as Port Douglas, Airlie Beach, Esperance, Eden and Kangaroo Island.
