The southern hemisphere's largest horticultural festival takes over Carlton Gardens and the Royal Exhibition Building from March 29- April 2.
From world-class landscape designs and jaw dropping floral displays to educational talks from industry leaders and family-friendly workshops, the festival will offer something for plant lovers of all ages.
Event director Marcus Gale said the show had been a staple of the state's event calendar for almost three decades, attracting 100,000 visitors each year.
"It's the must-do event of the season with something for everyone," he said.
The show will feature more than 40 garden displays across a range of competition categories. Ten acclaimed landscape designers from around the globe will present a series of breathtaking show gardens, including Dublin's Peter Donegan. Meanwhile, boutique gardens and student-led achievable gardens, balcony gardens and border gardens will give a nod to the changing nature of Australia's garden landscape.
The Great Hall of Flowers will showcase a stunning array of colourful floral varieties and displays, while the Indoor Plant Zone will inspire people looking to add a floral flourish to their indoor spaces.
The Learning Zone will have little ones entertained for hours, while a sprawling summer veggie patch will showcase the wonders of home grown food.
Evening visitors will be able to experience the festival in a whole new light on March 31, with Gardens By Twilight transferring the grounds into a twinkling visual display.
The show will open from 9am-5pm on the Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and from 9am-9pm on Friday.
