The journey will start with a ceremony at Pozieres, France, on April 23 in the lead up to Anzac Day.
The torch will then travel to Menin Gate, Belgium, and through the streets of London, before returning home to Australia, landing in Albany, WA, on May 3.
It will then traverse towns and cities across Australia, visiting all 44 Legacy club locations, concluding in Melbourne in October.
It will be carried by more than 1500 torch bearers, who will be supported by 2000 volunteers.
Each relay will is followed by a reception hosted by the local Legacy Club.
The event is presented by Defence Health.
Legacy Australia is looking for Australians everywhere to volunteer and support their local club by assisting on relay days when the torch passes through a town near them.
Volunteers are needed on the day with event operations, including registrations and check-in; walking alongside torch bearers and general event all-rounders.
This year Legacy commemorates 100 years of supporting the families of Australian Defence Force members who have given their life or health in service to Australia.
The torch relay, presented by Defence Health, is one aspect of this.
Legacy chairman Eric Easterbrook OAM said the centenary recognises the sacrifice of many families over the past century and the efforts of countless volunteers who have supported them throughout grief and hardship.
Relay executive producer and director Liliana Sanelli said, the relay is a "wonderful opportunity for clubs, businesses and everyday Australians to give their thanks to the men and women that serve our country".
