The acclaimed musical - which shares the story of Austrian/ Australian sculptor Karl Duldig and his artist-inventor wife, Slawa Horowitz-Duldig will return to Chapel Off Chapel in Prahan from May 3.
The show will then head to Sydney for seasons at the Glen St Theatre in Belrose and Parramatta's Riverside Theatres.
The musical follows the brilliant couple's journey from pre-war Vienna to Melbourne - recounting the family's narrow escape from Nazis in Austria, Slawa's invention of the foldable umbrella and the couple's successful rebuilding of their artistic careers in their new home of Australia.
Spanning three continents and three generations, the story is based on an original memoir by Eva de Jong-Duldig and has been adapted for the stage by award-winning playwright Jane Bodie.
The show features original music, lyrics and arrangements by Anthony Barnhill, with lyrics by Tania de Jong and Jane Bodie.
The musical enjoyed a highly successful season at Chapel Off Chapel earlier this year, with venue manager Cate Crowley describing it as one of the most successful new Australian works in the venue's 27-year history.
"Houses were full and audiences were absolutely thrilled and heartened to see an original story so beautifully portrayed," Cate said.
