Caulfield Racecourse will be transformed into a treasure trove of fine art, antique furniture, jewellery and fashion when the Melbourne Fair returns to the venue this month.

Taking place from March 23-26, the fair offers visitors the chance to take home a little piece of history.
Thousands of items will be on display and available for sale, including antiques, art deco, mid-century modern and high-crafted vintage wares from some of the city's leading specialists.
Items that will be available this year include a 1950s diamond necklace with matching brooch and earrings, a rare Mid Century French Jielde Lamp, a Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Vase and an Australian made 50's sleepy hollow chair.
For those looking to learn more about the items on sale and the eras represented, there will also be a full program of events, talks and art appraisals.
There will be curated exhibitions of vintage fashion and a fascinating look at mourning jewellery with jewellery historian Hayden Peters on both the Saturday and Sunday.
Fashion anthropologist Tom McEvoy will also be at the event to share his extensive 20th century fashion knowledge, while Belle Epoque Fine Arts' Leigh Capel will be providing free art appraisals
Models sporting rare fashions from the1920's-70's will take to the catwalk during the fashion parade, while historic fashion expert Inger Sheil provides narration.
Opening Night tickets are $30, with day passes for concession holders available for $10. All events are included in the ticket price, provided they are taking place on the same day the ticket is valid.
Opening times will be 6-9pm on the Thursday, 10am-6pm on the Friday and Saturday and 10am-5pm on the Sunday.
