With a ute load of hits, four ARIA Awards and 38 Golden Guitars to his credit, Lee promises his Boys from the Bush concert to be his biggest and best yet.
Being out on the road again will be like coming home.
- Lee Kernaghan
It starts on July 4, running through July with more concert dates to come later in the year.
"It's been a long time between drinks as far as touring goes so being able to get the full production event out on the road for 2024 is a dream come true," he said.
"In a lot of ways every show will be like an annual general meeting of the Outback Club, it's gonna be a party, it'll be a celebration, and everyone's invited."
Lee burst onto the Australian music scene in the 90's with his ground-breaking brand of rural rock, synthesising traditional country themes with his own experiences growing up in regional Australia.
His style of country struck a chord with a younger generation of fans, paying homage to the bush, our people and way of life
Lee is credited with reinvigorating Australian country music by synthesising traditional country themes with his own brand of rural rock and images of an evolving regional culture.
Songs like The Outback Club, Boys From The Bush, Hat Town, She's My Ute, Backroad Nation and Australian Boy are modern day anthems for a generation of Australians living and working on the land.
His shows are a high powered, electric celebration of all things Australian delivered through his songs and amplified through his on-stage presence and his connection with his audience.
"The power of music is such an amazing thing," he said.
"It can lift you up when you're feeling down or take you back to a special place in time. One of the greatest things though is how it brings people together.
"I'm really looking forward to catching up with all my damn good mates across Australia on the 2024 tour. It's the people I've met and the places I've been that have inspired so many of the songs.
