Thankfully, most Aussies turn to when travel when things get a bit too much. Trouble is, with the rising cost of living, escaping the rat race can be a pricey proposition.
This is reflected in a recent survey conducted for campervan, motorhome and caravan sharing community Camplify.
It says about two-thirds (66%) of Australians would like to travel to relieve their stress.

The psychological benefits of travel are especially relevant when it comes to nature, of which Australia is blessed.
A study by the University of Michigan found that to efficiently lowering levels of the stress hormone cortisol, people should spend 20-30 minutes sitting or walking in a place that provides a sense of nature.
Significantly, the Camplify study also reported that 79 per cent of the 1000 respondents said financial constraints were a roadblock to their relaxing holiday goals.
